A position has become available in the Ophthalmic Epidemiology unit where you will conduct high level academic research on artificial intelligence and its clinical adoption in ophthalmology and provide technical support for the ongoing projects. 

The ideal candidate should have outstanding skills and knowledge of conducting academic research and technical development on artificial intelligence demonstrated by both scientific publications and hands-on capability on programming and coding.

About the role

  • Conduct high level academic research on artificial intelligence and it's clinical adoption in ophthalmology
  • Working with international collaborators on co-design and implementation of the artificial intelligence program
  • Preparation and publication of high-quality research papers and technical reports

 

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A MD or PhD degree in a relevant discipline - medicine, ophthalmology, computer science
  • Successful publication track record on artificial intelligence research preferably in the field of ophthalmology
  • Demonstrated capability on independent programming/ coding on artificial intelligence algorithm and software development, proficiency understanding programming software such as Python, R, Pytorch, Tensorflow framework
